Holiday Recounts

My feet remember walking onto the immense aeroplane and a man checking our tickets asking me random questions about my stuffed chimp.
My eyes remember seeing the chimpanzees at the Wellington Zoo doing hilarious tricks. Ben the baby (three years old) and the oldest chimp there (38 years old) liked to play together by making beats for each other to dance to.
My ears remember the noise of the basketball bouncing up and down the court until...SWISH the ball went straight in the hoop without hitting the back board or anything. The referee blew his whistle and held up three fingers for three points.
My nose remembers the beautiful smell of delightful food being cooked at the Spruce Goose Café in Wellington.
My tongue remembers tasting the outstanding food and hot drinks at the Spruce Goose Café. While I was eating I was looking at the beautiful view out the window of surfers and planes taking off and landing.

My feet remember swimming in the cold, deep pool as I jumped off the yellow, floating board with Uncle Guy.
My eyes remember watching Aunty Rochelle cut mine, Tia's, Indy's and Nixon's sparkly chocolate cake.
My ears remember listening to Indy and Tia singing ' Baby Your A Firework' as we watched Madagascar 3 together.
My nose remembers the scented shiny art work at the art gallery while I entered the room.
My tongue remembers eating delectable home made scones, biscuits and buttery, cream coloured popcorn.

My feet remember running on the warm sand in Christchurch, on the beach.
My eyes remember watching a man sketching a piece of art on the beach, of the beautiful waves in the water.
My ears remember hearing the waves crushing the water and floating away.
My nose remembers smelling the nice refreshing air and flowers around me.
My tongue remembers tasting the yummy KFC in the mall. It was delicious.

My feet remember the icy, cold snow getting into my black, spotty gumboots, while I was running around on the 7th of July.
My eyes remember the city lights. There were massive cubes that glowed and changed different colours. The museum was glowing with different colours too! We were walking around in Christchurch with my cousins.
My ears remember Pitch (my puppy) barking at Ethan's red and black remote control car. He was running around and attacking it as well.
My nose remembers the sausy hot-dogs, yellow fish, sugary donuts and medium-sized chips from the fish and chip shop. Only my dad and I walked in to the fish and chip shop.
My tongue remembers the taste of the orange chocolate chip ice-cream. I was licking it like a cat licking his paws.

My feet remember squishing a pitch black ant beside the wood pile, trying to get back to its stump.
My eyes remember playing a challenging staring contest against my little brother Riley and he won because he WHACKED me in the face!
My ears remember Riley jumping on the annoying whoopee cushion while we were watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban at our house, after lunch.
My nose remembers the smell of a black and white cow pooping at my nana and granddad's farm, after breakfast.
My tongue remembers tasting the worst cold and cough medicine ever, at midnight in the kitchen, at my house.
